New Puppies Are Here!!!

Within a weeks time we have 4 litters on the ground!  Gracie had 4 rolly, polly pups.  Angel  had 6 sweet babies.  Then Gidget had 5 little guys and Donna also had 5 cute babies.  We love the sound of little puppies nursing and just their little sounds when sleeping!  We have lots of colors this time, with quite a few red tri's.  We're just so excited about this group of pups!  Pictures coming soon!!

We still have 3 older pups available too.  Not sure why they were overlooked but they are some really nice looking pups.  Saphire had gorgeous blue merleing and is going to stay a toy, she's got a great personality too.  Little Reba is going to be a real small toy.  She's got a huge personality just like her mama!  Then there's little Rocky, he's just a great little guy.  He absolutely loves our children and can't stop licking!  Thought I would put up their pictures to show what a great looking bunch they are!

Our newest addition!!!

Here's our newest puppy addition, Rocky.  He was born a week early, so I didn't dock his tail.  I figured this little guy had enough stress, trying to stay alive.  He was only 3.8 oz.  He's such a ham!  The girl's play with him, like their baby.  He's often times found wrapped up in a baby's blanket!
Thought I would show a picture of him with his tail.  I love it!  He wags it all the time!
Here he is again.  This little guy is going to be tiny!  But has a HUGE personality already!  He's spoiled rotten by his mama and fan club!  Whenever we have girls stay overnight he's passed around continuously!  He's for sale and needs to find his forever home!

Trucking!!!

Sometimes we deliver puppies and here we are using the semi-truck to deliver.
The puppies did awesome and the kids had so much fun playing in the back with the puppies.
They all slept at one point too, we have so much fun delivering these babies.

 All sacked out!
Just haning out!

We don't have many puppies left!  So pick one out today, they will be socialized and so much fun!
They have awesome pedigrees and would make great show dogs as well.

The puppies couldn't resist sticking their noses in the flower!  Everyone did it but I only got some on the camera.  Mr. Boyd HAD to hold his new favorite, Mae.  She's such a tiny little girl, but so fun and gorgeous!
Here's Mr. Newton checking out the sunflowers.
Axton buried his face in it immediately.
Mr. Jones was a little more dignified and just looked at it.  I still think it's amazing on how many different personalities you can have with this breed.  They love to play with everything, and are always playing tug of war with something!

Summer Fun!!!!

Here's Boyd with Clark, who's going to live with Callie Utterback in Colorado
Here's sweet Pearl, she's still available.
Here's beautiful Hawkin, looking soo, sooo, sweet.
Here's Denver and this picture shows his personality to the T.
Here's Boone taking a much needed rest.
Here's the tiny, tiny, Eddie.  What a sweetheart!!!!

The puppies thought they wanted to tell you a few things.

We have a lot of fun playing in the summer!  We play really hard then we find a cool place to lay down and have a little snooze.  We are all still looking for our forever homes and hope to find them soon!!!  We love to give kisses, and snuggle and sometimes like to play with shoe strings.

So, so cute!!!!

Here is Emil

I thought I would put some pictures of what these puppies go through here at they're home.  My girls think they're babies and the puppies are treated as such.  The puppies endure many tea parties, dress up games and are often found bundled up sleeping tight in a blanket.  This is usually after they've run around outside for an hour (this helps with the chewing and whining!)  What fun these little guys are!  As they get closer to going to their forever homes, we pamper and spoil them for their new homes!

We now have 4 litters on the ground!

Angel and Gidget both had puppies a week ago already.  So far we have 22 puppies available.  We still have Donna due any day now too!  Mara's puppies are 4 weeks old and Gracie's are 3 weeks.  All have they're eyes open.  We're waiting on eye color now.  Here's some pics of the puppies.

Oh! Wait that's not one of our puppies!  This is Isicles our house cat.  She sometimes thinks she's the momma to some of the puppies!

New Puppies have arrived!!!

Here are Mara's 5 new puppies. Being a first time mom, she's doing great! They're all healthy and growing! She has two black tri males, one black tri female and one of each for the blue merle's.

Here are two pictures of Gracie's litters. She had 5 in all. Three females (both red merles and one blue merle). And two males (one blue merle and one black tri). At one day old they weigh as much as Mara's and her's are a week old!

She really had some nice coloring with some full collars.

Gidget is due anyday and we're excited about her litter as well!

It's finally SPRING!!

It's hard to believe it's spring already but our winter has been so mild. Everything is almost leafed out and starting to bloom. It's in the 70's and people are starting to mow! But it's still only March! The dogs are sooo hot, since they're still sporting their winter coats! Hopefully they'll start to loose some of that. Mara and Gracie are due to whelp this weekend, so hopefully everything goes well. For Mara, it's her first time, so you never know what to expect. Gracie is an old pro by now!

Thought I would put some pics of our latest member of the house, Isicles. She's quite the card! She loves to pounce on unsuspecting Donna. It's usually quite the rodeo! Donna also does not like to share her food, so she is always racing to the kitchen to protect it! We looked out the window one morning and there was Isicles out in our huge evergreen. She's very athletic and loves to play with Fancy. Those two are always rolling around. Here's Isicles perched in our evergreen tree! Hoping to catch something!

Only one puppy left!!

All the puppies are gone except for Gibbs. He was pretty lonely at first but now has become Fancy's little shadow. She runs like the wind and is so athletic, it is so funny to watch him (with his stumpy little legs) try to catch up with her! He's king of the house too, the kids play all sorts of games, but by that time he's exhaused (probably from running after Fancy!) and just wants to sleep. But the girls love that because then he's their baby (he's usually found all wrapped up in lots of blankets)!
Little Gibbs is available and needs his own special home!

We had an interesting day on Sunday, Debra (our nanny goat) was due to kid anytime. But I knew there was something drastically wrong. The vet came out and did a c-section and she had two billy goats, and one nanny. The "kids" are doing great, but we lost Debra. We're not sure what happened to her. She has been our pet for about 5 years and it was so sad. So now I'm feeding baby goats in the middle of the night and during the day. I will get some of their pictures posted pretty soon. There's always something happening on a farm, some good and some not so good.

February????

Western and northern South Dakota are getting blizzard conditions with 8 inches of snow and strong winds. Down here in the southeastern part of SD we are getting thunderstorms! It just keeps raining we got 1 1/2 inches of rain! The ground was covered with snow now it's almost pure ice. The aussies don't seem to mind it though, they're always willing to run around outside. Down by our calf barn we have a big pile of cornstalk bales and Buck and all of the adults LOVE to run and play in it. Gidget is always following me close, since I have the pails of milk! She looks like a polar bear! The puppies are 7 weeks old already and only 3 are left. Hopefully they find their forever homes soon.

We went out to my parents ranch and had so much fun, although the weather was gloomy. I'll put some pics up of their ranch. Some wild turkeys in their tree belts.
Bullet sticking out his tongue at the camera!
My dad's work horses, Dick and Tom.

It's Winter Again!!

Yesterday it was 51 degrees out with no wind. We took out the puppies for the first time. They didn't quite know what to think, there was a lot of whining at first. Then they started to run around and really enjoy the outdoors.

We woke up this morning with snow on the ground and school was canceled due to a storm coming. So the puppies only got to run around in the basement. They got their first round of shots and started another round of worming. They sure are a lot of fun to watch! The kids run around in circles and the puppies are close behind!

Our Trip

We went up to Brookings SD and delivered Emme and Waylon to their new families. We hate to see them go, but I know they'll get so spoiled with their new families.

Poor Buck, he's the only puppy left and he gets lonesome for his fellow playmates!

I love the top picture of Buck (he's so grand!). The second picture is sweet Emily holding him, with Cash running in the background! I caught his ears straight up!

Our other litter of Sierra's are getting so big! And they're getting quite the personalities. Very playful and oh, so cute!

Travis and I started another adventure with bottle calves. We just can't seem to get away from them! The dogs love it because they love to clean up all the spilled milk! It's fun to see the interaction between the calves and dogs. These dogs may be little but do they have the spunk! That certainly wasn't bred out of them!

Only 3 older puppies left!

We went to the Dakota Pet Breeders conference today. It was very informational and I learned so much. It's also nice to see fellow pet breeders and visit. The last time I saw most of them was at the Dog show last August. Some of the speakers were Dr. Kessler, Stacy Mason and the ever popular Frank Losey himself.

Taylor went to her new home today. As soon as the conference was over, I turned around and met her new family in Sioux Falls.

So now we only have 3 left. When I got home they were all laying on the couch by the kids.

Here's the gorgeous Waylon. I love this guy he's got so much personality and his fur is fabulous!!

Hopefully he finds his forever home soon. Everyone's just missing out on this guy!

Starting fresh!

It's been so long since I've been on here and hopefully I'll be more faithful in the new year. We had 3 new litters in the end of October and November. We still have 4 left.

We'll start with Buck. He's a fantastic little guy (meaning he'll only be around 12-13 inches mature). He's just plain nice. In more ways than one. His personality is laid back but he's always ready to play or follow me everywhere. He's a scaredy pants though, Travis honked the trucks horn and he just took off running for the safety of the dog house! Can't say I'd blame him with Travis driving a truck!

More to follow in another day or so.
