We had freezing rain the morning we left for my parents ranch. Only 2 hours in and we were driving on black ice:( Thankfully we drove out of that, and the rest of the time ( 5 hours to be exact ) was smooth sailing! Here's a couple pics of our family. Here we are standing in front of the shack my grandparents lived in the 1900's. Today it's being used for a chicken house.
Here we are standing in front of my dad's percheron team. He still uses them to feed hay to their range cows. They had enough snow so we used the sleigh! What fun it was and it brought back many memories for me growing up!
